Julie Veloz is a Global Executive Vice President of Learning & Development at one of the world's largest communications firms. In this role, she leads the design and delivery of learning strategy for thousands of employees across more than 60 countries, building the kind of cultures where people grow, lead, and do their best work.
Before stepping fully into the L&D world, Julie built her career in tech and communications, working with brands and learning firsthand that the most powerful strategies are the ones that connect with people, not just their minds, but their motivations. That insight became the foundation of everything she does today. You will hear her say Culture will eat strategy for breakfast.
Julie is also an Adjunct Professor at Rider University, where she teaches Business and Communications to the next generation of professionals. Her classroom is an extension of her philosophy: learning should be challenging, relevant, and deeply human.
Her proprietary frameworks are used by managers and leaders across industries to have better conversations, build stronger teams, and create environments where feedback is a gift, a culture driver, and an agent for growth.
Beyond the boardroom and the classroom, Julie is a passionate advocate. She serves on boards and advisory councils for organizations including Mas de Una, HISPA, Diversity Action Alliance, NASA, and the NJ Re-Entry Center, working to open doors for communities that have historically been shut out of opportunity.
